Renowned for its excellent adherence and respect to environmental, historical and cultural concerns, Sunbuild was an ideal choice to design and construct the $21 million Wickham Point Immigration Facility.

In just 20 weeks, Sunbuild constructed the main buildings, connected power, water and fire services including the major HV reticulation and water main. Adding to the complexity of this crucial project was a number of sensitive environmental and historical concerns.

Working with community groups, Sunbuild’s design paid respect to Aboriginal artefacts and sacred sites while its waste management solution protected the environment.
